Artist Proflio

Artist portfolio

I am creating and designing a magazine focusing on one particular artist, the main star image of that particular issue to produce a specialised fluent magazine that has continuity throughout. In order to gain a wide variety of creative ideas and thoughts to make my magazine and artist a realistic as possible, I decided to create a portfolio of my artist. I have based my artist identity on someone who is usually focused in the media industry, being a huge inspiration to her fans.

Name: Emily North

This is a traditional modern styled name. This particular name allowed me to express and reflect her personality and characteristics through the use of her name. Emily means to strive/excel, where North means nobility. This way I could create a genuine, pleasant encouraging artist who performs for her fan and love my music rather than the profit that comes with it.

Age: 24
My artist is within the age range of target audience I am directly appealing my magazine towards. She is towards the higher age rate of the target audience 13-25, this is in order for her to act as a role model and an act of inspiration to the younger generation of her fans and supports. Her choose of clothing style is always glamorous new trends no matter the time of day , she is always picture wearing heels to dress up her casual days such as boyfriend jeans with a blouse and accessories with decorative jewellery .
She is in magazines weekly, whether she is the star focus of the magazine or small article about the arrival at exclusive events such as premiers, award ceremony or support act and other top stream concerts. But recently the main focus it’s about the artist doing solo work since splitting from one of the top 10 bands in Britain “The surperms”. She is seen a positive aspect of global media due to her delightful personality and her outstanding vocal quality’s, and it is clearly shown from the press she is an A class celebrity causing a high rate of publication in the media through magazine, TV, and radio.
