Double page spread planning

Double page spread planning

During my phootshoot I used a particular prop of a “Rose” to indacate the constructed star image that is easily reconsigable through the audience. I created a certain ideogology of the my  ‘Pop Star’ model as presenting herself as an inspiration and sexual object through the use of the colour red. To incorparte this within my main article I thought I would gain a better understand of the true meaning of a red rose. They traditionally symbolise unconditional love and romance, and a time-honoured way to say "I love you." The red rosebud has long symbolized beauty and perfection. The colour red itself evolved from an early primal symbol for life into a metaphor for deep emotion.

I felt the images being published in the magazine had to relate to my main article of my double page spread so there is continuity throughout the magazine. Therefore the double page spread will focus on my artist personal love life that she has recently been engaged to a former artist in music industry as well as given birth to their first child. I believe this is a success article to appeal to the audience as they themselves like to feel included to the personal lifestyle of their role model as they feel a sense of belonging.
The photography of my model holding a red rose will be positioned on the second page on the double page spread. The article will be shaped round the image, to make it more appealing and interesting to the readers eyes. The subheading will be printed in large text followed by smaller paragraph introducing issues that will be accruing in the article and interview.
The second to fourth paragraphs will included the structured interview; questions about how she finding motherhood and life with her fiancé.
Extra images- Photographs of the old band and pictures of the baby to play on the readers emotions
Final Paragraph will included information about her new album and concert data, which is a sense of advertisement for the artist and is restricted information that has only been realised in the magazine.
